The latest list of local apprenticeship vacancies is now on the wall outside Careers Room at Cavendish! [I haven't worked out how to attach the list here on this blog - any help would be appreciated!]
The jobs shown on these lists are just a selection of the
LOCAL vacancies available now/soon. They are
here to give you an idea of the range of jobs which are available. Find out more about these jobs at www.apprenticeships.org.uk Register there for email alerts about
possible new vacancies you want to hear more about. There are other ways to find apprenticeships too. For example, the construction industry (from
trades to technical) have their own, separate list. You need to have your radar switched on!
Apprenticeships are advertised all year round as vacancies
become available. Jobs with a start date from
July onwards might be advertised any time, but particularly from about April
onwards – be ready to apply by preparing a draft application which you can then
adjust when you spot the perfect position.
Your application must be OUTSTANDING. There is often huge competition for these
jobs – but that’s because they are worth it!
